A Lesson to be Learned...

I shoulda known better, but I didn't.  Someone may get the best of me,  but they're not going to do it and me be quiet.  As they say,  I'll shout if from the rooftops.... LOL

Okay,  I'll admit it.  When I decided to buy my very first domain name someone recommended  Network Solutions.  This is where the mistake happened.  My mistake.  Did I want to pay manually, OR .... AUTOMATICALLY?   Guess which square I checked....

Long story... shorter version,  they were charging me more than twice what I could get a domain name for anywhere else.  So last year,  I called Network Solutions,  said I wanted to move my domain name.  She asked why,  I said the price was too high.  She instantly gave me a reasonable
price.  So I left my domain with them.

This year,  the price was high again.  So I called,  I was moving the DN for sure.  They said they were sorry to see me go.  So they charged my account for $37.99 after they released my domain name to Go Daddy.

Then I start getting emails about building my new website with Network Solutions. Like I had PAID for a website. Very confusing.

This morning I get an email stating "One of the first ways we can demonstrate our commitment to this goal is to quickly and efficiently handle your recent request.
We apologize, but in accordance with our Service Agreement, it is our policy not to issue refunds for domain name registration(s) or other Network Solutions services. Once payment is made for a service it cannot be changed or reversed. However, once the registration period is over you may choose not to renew the service.

It's raining!  Yea!  We need some more rain.  thanks again.  xo
